      The similarity between diamond wire cutting machine and electric discharge wire cutting is the same purpose. Although both use wire cutting, they are completely different methods for cutting.

      Diamond wire cutting machine is a cutting equipment developed using the ancient method of saw and modern expression. Its working principle is to use a steel wire plated with small diamond particles on the surface, which moves back and forth at high speed under the drive of the machine tool, and continuously rubs against the workpiece to achieve cutting* Simple yet effective, the ancient cutting method of saw is increasingly manifested in various forms, but the principle remains the same.       Electric spark wire cutting machine uses a metal electrode wire to perform pulse spark discharge to remove metal from the workpiece and cut it into shape. Instantaneous discharge is formed between the electrode wire and the workpiece, generating instantaneous high temperature, causing local melting or even vaporization of the metal at the contact point with the electrode wire, resulting in erosion. The worktable of the machine tool drives the workpiece to continuously feed, which can cut the required shape.       The difference between wire electrical discharge cutting and diamond wire cutting machines is that wire electrical discharge cutting machines are only effective for conductive metal materials, and they are not as effective for semiconducting and non-conductive materials. However, diamond wire cutting machines are effective for conductive materials, semiconducting materials, and non-conductive materials. Any material with a hardness lower than diamond wire can be processed, but only materials with a certain degree of brittleness, such as conductive metal materials with strong toughness, can be processed.
